Elaines Swim School

My two oldest sons have been attending Elaine's swim school for two years. They started at Gaynes School but now both take their lessons at Coopers.

Elaine runs the swim school and oversees all the lessons. The children are split into ability groups at each session and each group has a teacher assigned to them. The beginners also have at least one or two swimming coaches in the pool with them.

My sons are at different levels and so have always been in separate groups. Elaine has been really helpful in ensuring that they are taught at the same session so that I only have to watch for half an hour.

The boys have come on in leaps and bounds since starting at the school. The older of my sons could just about swim his width but in no particular stroke, he is now swimming confidently in front crawl, breast and back stroke and is even mastering butterfly.

The younger of my two boys could not swim at all when joining the school. He has now swam his width and is gaining in confidence and improving his technique at every lesson.

I would whole heartedly recommend Elaine's swim school where the emphasis is not just on getting the children swimming but is on getting them to swim with good technique and confidence.
