How great is it that the sun is out and could even be here to stay!

We've been busy making the most of it with trips and holidays. But with the weather being so good is there any need to go away?

Have a great weekend one and all.

Oh gosh that was painful to sit through last night. I hope and pray you guys are taking up soccer coaching classes for your little ones, which are listed on our site as we really do need some players for the future. I can't understand such role models for our kids like Rooney moaning about being booed. Lets not forget he is not only playinhg for England in the World Cup, something most of us dream of but he is getting paid for it. The fans booing have a right to after spending a fortune to watch him play.

Come on England, we deserve better than this.

Come on England, prediction 3-0, Ronney 2 and Gerrard 1.

'Registrations are what we need' (sung in the Record Breakers song). Thanks to the guys from FitKids for registering! The site is all about embodying the concept of the more the merrier. We now have over 500 clubs dedicated to Kids activities and adventures in Essex, with the UK in generally growing rapidly. With registered users enjoying the most KidsClubNetwork has to offer, what are you waiting for??

I'm off fishing this weekend. Not the most active of sports but a great way to get the kids outside and interacting with Nature. Check out the Kingfisher Lakes in Lying Norfolk, beautiful surroundings and great fishing.

Have a great weekend one and all! :0)

Come on England and good luck today!! Having watched the first two opening matches of the World Cup it's very exciting to see South Africa making an excellent job of it!

The reaction of the locals is truly amazing.

We had a Vuvuzela blowing competition yesterday. I have never laughed so hard in my life! Despite their simple appearance they are actually really really hard to play (if you can call it playing). Of the 15 people involved in the competition only two got anything like a decent sound from the plastic horn. Most just ended up with a similar sound to a wet fart....with plenty of shaking from the effort required to get any sounds from the horns, I was afraid there could have been an accident or two.... I was in stitches! Still am in fact thinking of it now.

Well done to all of those who took part, great effort.

If you get a chance this world cup give it a go, I don't think you'll find anything funnier this year... I know I won't ;0)

We're on a recruitment drive at the moment with plans for interviews this Friday. I'm excited to meet the new prospective KCN Agents later this week.

It's been a busy couple of weeks all in all, with the weather periodically playing ball, then bucketing down as it did this weekend - it's taken some serious planning. One thing we are hoping for is good weather this summer. As KCN continues to grow we'll be running launch parties all over the UK. Think BBQ, Bouncy Castles, fun and excitement. Maybe someone out there would like to get involved? Drop me a line at matt@kidsclubnetwork.co.uk, it's always great to hear from you.

And guess what......the bathroom saga is over, I really have finished and it even got a seal of approval :0)

Loved Twist & Pulse tonight, thought they were awsome. I think the boy band Connected will win the final though, another tip, you heard it here first.

Strange day today, I won a giant teddy in a charity raffle, it looks like we have secured two excellent partners to link with and Sales Agents interviews were booked. Sounds like a weird dream but it's all true.

Gareth, our Noth East partner and area owner threatens to actually do some work next week....things are looking up !!

Waiting for the phone to ring all day today with news but it didn't, not good. Never mind, seen Stavros Flatley on TV twice tonight and that cheered me up.

Did anyone back Benson to score the first goal on Sunday for the mighty Dagenham & Redbridge as I predicted....wish I had !!!

Someone said to me yesterday 'You can't please everyone all of the time' now I find this is the 4th time I have written it since !! I'm going to say it at least once a day from now on.
Really looking forward to the long weekend and spending time with the kids. Lots of outdoor activities for us, can't wait.

Good to see Matt is still boring the pants of us with his painting!! The room is so small he could have painted it with the brush between his toes by now, ha ha.

Finally, Good luck & Welcome to Rachael, our newest KCN team member.

Here comes the rain but it's supposed to be nice for the mighty Dagenham versus the Chuckle Brothers Rotherham for the 2nd Division play off at Wembley. My tip is Benson for the first goal. Mind you I bet it won't be as good a goal as Andy from Little Britain's goal in the Nationwide advert. If you haven't seen it look it up it's really great.

Time has flown since my last blog, I didn't realise it had been so long.

Did you see Come Dine With Me last night? It was so funny and even Pat Sharp's cheesy jokes had me in laughing. Michael Barrymore was playing up to the camera as much as he could but then cooked a great meal when it was he's turn.....very clever!

The world of KCN has been just as mad and we are seeing lots of interest in our sales agent roles. We also have a free franchise offer too for one lucky person, let us know if you are intersted in hearing more.

Went to watch Dagenham & Redbridge beat Morecombe 6-0 on Sunday, what a result. Lewis was on the front wall and was chuffed he patted Benson on the back at the final whistle. Looks like Wembley is now going to happen, the boys don't realise how lucky they are.

Playing football at Carrow Road this Saturday, going to be unreal, so excited I want to sleep in the company footy shirt !!

If you fancy discussing anything with us just click on the contact link. Cheers, Scott.

.....and the bathroom is finished, sort of...

Last week it didn't happen for me or Fulham, but unlike Fulham I got another chance this weekend. Thankfully, it's all sorted and I have a happy wife again.

Now I've got my freedom back and the weathers looking good, the world is back in play! :O)

Bad luck for Jenson Button this weekend. It sounds like an error by the team which is a huge shame. Fingers crossed for the guys next race.

Matt's comedy tip, have a look at Cougar Town on Living TV. Possibly the funniest show I've ever seen!!

Due to my many commitments I'm probably the worst person at starting and then finishing DIY jobs.

In January we had some work completed in our en suite shower room. To shave a couple of pennies off the bill I decided to paint the room myself after the plumber finished. My wife was a touch worried due to my track record. I gave my assurances that after a couple of weekends the job would be done.

Well I'm pleased to report that true to form, I'm now 14 weeks into the job. With one very unhappy, but thankfully understanding wife (some would say long suffering too).

So, tomorrow I plan to get the job done once and for all. Last week I made the trip to Homebase, so I've no excuses left, tomorrow it will be a happy day for my wife and one of relief to me! :)

Excellent news seeing Dagenham & Redbridge making the play off's, come on you daggers !

Josh's team played a friendly this morning and drew 3-3 after being 3-1 down. Another great goal in injury time from Blonde Joe, that boy has a keen eye for goal ! Goalkeeper Jamie was great in between the sticks with one save being as good as any 8 year old I have ever seen.

Kids parties tomorrow and the no doubt Chelsea winning the Premier League. I'm going for 3-0 to Chelsea and a 2-0 win for Man Utd.

Fury Vengence was okay the kids kind of liked it but it was a bit of one for a straight to DVD ! Toy Story 3, Sherek 4 and Robin Hood all look good as does The Prince Of Pershia. Needed a good run after sitting through that and eating loads of popcorn.

It's been a couple of days since my last blog and so much seems to have happened at the end of this week. First we had Gordon Brown's 'Bigot' gaff, which I thought was amazingly bad. I never liked GB but that just showed what he is really like, not sure what Sarah sees in him.

Next we have had the terrible oil slick in the USA, which seems out of control. BP's share price has plummeted and no wonder especially as they haven't plugged the leak yet.

Lastly the week has picked up with a great afternoon today with the kids at Dagenham & Redbridge versus Hereford. Lower league football has seen a huge rise in families attending matches compared to the Premier League clubs. The standard of PL football has fallen so much that the gap between the leagues is closing....you heard it here first!

Spent today looking for a really good website to advertise our home based sales agent jobs on. For small companies like us there isn't a huge choice out there as the cost can be prohibitive.
I'm going to find the right one by the end of the week, that is my mission.

Had a dream that Jamie Oliver followed us on Twitter last night, weird. I read on Sunday that Jamie is now the top 'brand' in the UK, probably due to his excellent work with school canteens. Just shows you what a good idea can bring you.

I worked as a volunteer on a water station at the London Marathon yesterday, what a great experience. All the runners were gratfull for the support and the fluid (!) and most looked good at that stage. The guy carrying the Angel Of The North on his back was probably the last one through and he looked in pain, maybe not such a great idea?!

Did you see my footy predictions, I got Hull's result but was wrong about West Ham, well done to the boys.

Lastly, if you have a website yourself and want to link for free with us just let me know.

It's the start of another week. Judging by the weather today it's not looking great for the Bank Holiday weekend. Fingers crossed it improves in time.

It's been sometime since I last took out my power kite. This weekend I'm planning to make the trip to my local park and firing it up. If you see someone flying along attached to a large orange and white kite....it'll be me, so give me a wave it might be the last time I'm seen :0)

I've been flying kites for years and it's a great activity. For Adults, and Kids on a smaller scale (4m Sq Power Kite and a mini person could result in a quick trip to France), Kite flying promotes hand-eye coordination, with the usual benefits of outside activity and developing a new skill. Far better than the usual computer game. So if you haven't been out in a while why not give it a go?

See you in the skies!

It's a tense day for us West Ham fans, I think Wigan will win but I also think Sunderland will beat Hull, let's see what happens and if I'm right.

Good luck to all the marathon runners tomorrow, it's going to be a hot one. I have ran it twice and my advice is to drink the whole bottle of water or sports drink from every drinks station otherwise there is a fair chance of hitting the wall.

Have you noticed how things are changing in the UK in relation to the way we live. We no longer wash our own cars, we often don't cook, we buy insurance from Insurance search sites some of us don't even cut our own grass any more. This change hit me the other night when I was looking for a new car on Auto Trader. There was nearly 500,000 cars on one site for sale, half a million cars all in one place! Transferring this to our business, people don't want to search lots of different sites for things to do for the kids anymore and so advertising with the main brand, which is KidsClubNetwork, makes sense to me. Will we have 500,000 clubs and activities listed on KCN one day...... food for thought.

Just had breakfast and eating the new Fibre full Alpen. There's nothing better than cold milk and cereal if you ask me. Most important meal of the day as my Mum used to say. But what I don't like is those weird Alpen Adverts!! They feature before a couple of programs on Living (sky).

What's with the weird smiles, they all look creepy lol :)

Good morning and welcome to Tuesday. I feel like it should be Friday already! :)

Like Scott I think hydration is key to any sport. Having played Rugby again recently, with the odd knock here and there to prove it, keeping hydrated helps with endurance and staying alert during the game. So make sure your little ones are getting more water and less fizzy drinks during any activity.

Have a great day everyone!

I'm taking the Volvic 14 day challenge at the moment and it is really working. Day 6 in and I do feel much better, more alert and I'm drinking more all round. It's a really good idea and a great marketing ploy but hey I don't care if it works. Mind you I played football with the team tonight and I still started slow so maybe next week I'll be great for the full 60 minutes rather than just the last 20!! Got to sign off now but did you see the Lib Dems are in the lead in the election polls? Not sure they will know what has hit them if they get in to Number 10 but it might make a nice change. There you go, health, sport and politics all in one hit, night night.

I have been linking with websites and advertsing our new Sales Agent roles today. I know I'm biased but the new roles are such a good opportunity to earn some extra cash working from home. The roles would suit all those hard working mum's and carers who fancy working the hours they want, day or evening and I believe KCN is such a great brand it will soon become the first place kids clubs and associated businesses will want to advertise.
